Shooting Street and Documentary
My definition of street photography is capturing society at a candid moment. Whether it's somewhere in the city, small town or out in the countryside. I want candid and real moments. Documentary is broader of course and is more about constructing a story. I love both equally. In 2017 I started along with others, the Calgary Street Collective. Now over 50 members, it's a collective for the purpose of supporting street and documentary photographers of all types based in Calgary.
If you like my photographs and that is what you brought you to this page, thank you. I've been shooting street and documentary more seriously for the last three years and still use some different styles depending on the desired outcome. Follow me on Instagram (icon above) under Schatzypants for my most current stuff. If you see me wandering around the streets of Calgary adding to my portfolio or working on a project say "hi".
I am always looking for the next project on the horizon, so tell me about your project and what you want to do. An event, a wedding, portrait or TFP, a magazine or even a business. I can be reached by email by using the icon on the top right or click here to contact me. If you interested in a print, framed print or poster, contact me for my price list.
